I just finished my office. I was looking for cool ways to store items, technology and memorabilia. These hold all of my stuff and look cool while doing it.
I have already reviewed the full-size crate, in the same way. For my handyman business, I leveled up on storage! These half crates have been ideal for the smaller parts and pieces that I need to have organized.
Full Size SidioCrate Builder
Use it in my truck to keep things organized.
Very strong crate. Don't have to worry about about the bottom busting out. They nest nicely. Nice, polished finish.
These grips are a perfect match for the crate. Although mine arrived in an unfinished and kinda more rustic look, it feels sturdy and makes carrying heavy loads easier. Customer Service did notify me about the new design and shipping was prompt right after the holidays.
I own a small handyman business, and generally have a lot of parts, pieces, and tools that I have to manage in my garage workshop. These crates, with their adjustable dividers, allow me to store a lot of items that a cardboard box just won’t hold anymore. And the colors! If you are going to buy a more permanent storage solution like this, you might as well have great choices in exciting colors… Well done!
Crate serves as mid-step for aging canine when flipped over and covered with a folded towel...
Got one, loved it and got one for my brother too. It's handsome and ready for a multitude of uses.
The build quality is surprisingly sturdy. Super convenient for organizing photography lighting and accessories in an easy to store and take with you
I needed something to keep frequently used gear around my studio organized and easily accessible. And it doesnt make sense to put all my audio gear in pelicans. And pelicans dont look all that beautiful in a studio environment.
Sidio crates are built so well, and they look awesome. Their color selection is amazing and all the accessories are supper helpful. I plan on buying more as they honestly have been a GAME CHANGER in my studio. Helps me stay organized and the green and tan color options help maintain the earth tone design of my studio. Many guests have already complimented how "cool" they look.
The latches on the lid took me a minute to figure out. I still find them to be REALLY strong (which is really a good thing) but it’s a little hard on the hands. They have a push pull style opening that you may not notice at first. I also recommend getting the "bottom mat" if you plan on storing smaller items, or cables as things can slip thru the crates holes if they are small enough.
The staff was outstanding and responsive!
Initial impression has exceeded expectations. Now we’ll see if longevity is a characteristic they possess.
For my handyman business, I store quite a few smaller parts, pieces, hardware, tools etc.. this had been happening in cardboard boxes for a few years, but not anymore! Sidio crates allow me to categorize and very professionally store all of those things within the divided spaces; and now I’m able to get to them quickly and efficiently. And they travel well too.
The addition of the caster wheels makes moving the stacked crates effortless! Well done!
Love this addition to the crates. It makes moving my 4-stack of half crates easy and convenient. I also like how it slightly elevates all the crates, making it easier to pick up.
Rather than attach the casters to the bottom of a crate, this would be better as a separate platform for any crate to nest and clip into.
Caster Wheel Set
Not that it was rocket science, but there were no instructions with the caster wheel set. It was mysterious how we were supposed to deduce this connected to the bottom of a crate. We peeled away what looked like sticky paper to reveal a completely matte finish non-stick material, so that wasn’t it. It kind of fits wedged into the screws. I couldn’t see how it would be assembled any other way, just not impressed. Love the crates, but there are some cons. It’s worth noting I am taking them into on location shooting for narratives.
