I haven't had a chance to use the cutting board yet, but the quality is great. It fits in the lid snugly, but not enough to be stuck. I really like the idea of something trivial like a lid serving a dual purpose.

I had been eyeing up this system for awhile. I had seen them on set before and liked what I saw, but I always put it off. As a filmmaker you are constant victim of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). You want to buy things that are “sexy” and sleek. Toys for creative professionals. But when it comes to tools that have practical applications we are always “on the fence”. As soon as these came in the mail I kicked myself for not buying them earlier. They just work. Now things I’d have stored in multiple camera bags are in one place , easily accessible and honestly make me look professional and organized as hell. As I write this I’m looking for more add on items on the website. I am officially down the rabbit hole. One of the best purchases as a working creative professional.

I have bene so impressed with these crates. It made moving houses so simple and easy and now I have a well organized way to store my photography gear and cables.

We run a nonprofit art gallery / creative space in Downey, CA and have very little storage and a lot of art supplies. Sidio crates have been such an amazing addition to our storage situation, not sure how we did it without them! Definitely plan to add more as soon as our budget allows. Does sidio donate to local arts nonprofits? Hmmmm...

Just got mine in today. I work in the car hauling industry and occasionally do tow truck work. Having all the necessities in the crate organized is so nice. Had all types of different crates and none held up. Even got some from Mercedes and they sucked. These things are bad ass I love them! Will be getting more for sure!!

It locks, it's transparent, and still allows you to stack crates; what more could you ask for?!

If you're tired of the old lid constantly deforming, tabs breaking, getting stuck to the bottom of stacked crates, or just not fitting correctly to a warped crate (hot car with no divider), do yourself a favor and invest in the latch lids!
